2 meals in a row - dinner last nite & lunch today - both were delicious! Bongo bongo chicken sandwich last nite, wings this afternoon....great service from Sara, the bartender, made it a great dining experience

Relaxing atmosphere, good service, great pizza!!

If you're from this part of Pennsylvania, you know BJ's as something of an institution, particularly in Selinsgrove where they started three decades ago. Initially their focus was on barbecue but as it turns out their steaks were and are better. Later they added an outstanding raw bar. In Danville, they are making a comeback after a fire destroyed their old location five or six years ago. Their new location is as intimate as the old one, with a polished tin bar and seating for 30-40 people. The oysters - air-freighted weekly - were impeccably fresh and the petite Chicago steak was excellent as usual. They also have a great Smokehouse salad -- hardly spa cuisine but tres' good. I wouldn't call them cheap but their pricing is fair and offers excellent value. While i didn't have the wine, they make an effort to offer something besides Yellowtail and I note they do an excellent job preserving their wine once the bottle is opened - something many restaurants ignore.

Great Food and Service!

Food was very spicy. Service was good. Bongo Bongo was very good. Ribs had very little meat and were overdone.

Outstanding ribs! They live up to their reputation in both the Danville & Selinsgrove locations. Great staff & customer service.

Clam chowder was very good but clams were very rubbery, lettuce wedge very good.

Nice to have an Oyster Bar. Good food and great service. Now open for lunch!

Had a great lunch the Margherita pizza is a must. Friendly and welcoming staff. We will be visiting often.

Not many places to get Oysters in Pennsyltucky. Food is really good all around but the New Orleans Smoked Oysters are bangin.

Not like the ”old BJ’s”. Truly missing the dining ambiance that the previous location provided, and the table arrangement seems very crowded. Welcoming sight to see the Bongo-Bongo dip, which is always a favorite, is a carryover from the old location menu. Bring back the shrimp stuffed with crabmeat!!

THE SERVICE IS GOOD, THE FOOD IS GOOD, HOWEVER,THE PRICES ARE TOO HIGH FOR THE FOOD YOU GET. SO, IF PRICE ISN'T A PROBLEM, IT'S A NICE LITTLE RESTAURANT.

Birthday party for my grandson...the food was plentiful and tasty. All of the boys had hamburgers and they tasted great.

Nothing like the old BJ's, food and service are both subpar. We used to go to the old one at least once a week. DEFINITELY won't be back to the new place!

One of only a few good quality restaurants in Danville

Everything was amazing from drinks to dessert. They will be opening for lunch Tuesday to Saturday starting May 2nd. As good as I remember from the old location before the fire. Maybe even better. All the seafood I had was as fresh as from the beach. Definitely will be heading back soon.

I think their chicago steak might be one of the best steaks I have ever had. Ever time I come, which is too much, it never lets me down....

Salmon was delicious. Drinks were great. Miss the corn bread and sweet butter though.

Great readdition to Danville. Our service has always been above average. The food has been top quality. I especially enjoyed the Steak and Cake. The crab cake was loaded with crab meat and a 6 oz steak that was cooked perfectly. We look forward to trying the wood fired pizzas soon. My two critiques would be that the beer selection is a bit minimal and the location would benefit from additional space. An alfresco dining area would really set this place apart.

Preferred the old BJs rib and steak house. This place is nothing like it. Nothing great, overpriced. Got a simple burger order wrong...fries were definitely frozen. Probably won't go back. Not impressed.

Decor is very nice. WiFi does not work. Bongo dip was killer corn bread was average claims casino where above average coleslaw was very good baked beans where different but had a great flavor requested ribs dry with bjs sauce on the side. They cooked ribs with sauce and burned out my mouth only thing I could tast was there bbq sauce afterwards I only consumed one rib could not eat any more. Other party had pulled pork and it was not that great, flavor was just not there. Not enough sauce on it very dry for a Kansas pulled pork. Everything was great except the main course. For the price serving Fries with the main course surprised me. That part felt cheap and low end even though the place seams in every other direction to be in the higher end direction.

Very friendly, pleasant. Food was very great. Only negative thing... they don't have the corn bread and biscuits "yet" that we love at the other Bj's (the waitress said. She also said they don't know if they ARE gonna get them. They hope.)

Love this place better than the Selinsgrove location. Get the Charbroiled Oysters and or the Oysters Rockefeller!

Not nearly as good as used to be....food undercooked. Had to return it. They were nice enough to take it off the bill. Pricey.

This place is quite interesting!! I enjoyed the experience!

Got a date night for one evening, thank god, and we decided to stop by for a drink. We ended up doing an app, entree and dessert Amongst a few drinks. First of all, the Thai curry mussels should have come with a straw. Spicy and delicious. The bread that accompanied the dish was equally as fantastic. I would have drank the broth but didn’t want to look to desperate . It’s burns, but burns so good. My wife and I split the crab cake plate. It is easily one of the best crab cakes I’ve ever had, easily beating out some of the ones I recently had while traveling/living in the PNW. The creme brûlée was the icing on the cake, perfect consistency. I will be frequenting this establishment as much as possible. I just bought a house here and hopefully have years of future classics. Also we accidentally left my wife’s purse/backpack and the staff could not have been more accommodating on retrieving it. This place is a real class act. Cheers!

My wife and I are here while on vacation. It had been a few years since we ate here. I had the Bone in Ribeye. Unfortunately it was cooked more than what I wanted, but the flavor kept me from sending it back. My wife had the Chicago Steak Sandwich. It tasted great!! For dessert we had an apple cobbler. It was just ok. To me it needed less dough and more flavor. Overall though it was a great dinner!! We will be going back on our next trip to Pa.

Great selection of oysters. The raw were perfectly iced, and shocked. The chargrilled were rather large. And just ok. Clams casino very good. Steak and cake was good. Crab cakes were a little to cakey for me.(not enough crab)salad that came with the meal nice size. And the Brussels sprouts on the side were perfect!!

We are from Central Iowa and I would wanted great east coast oysters on the half shell. And this oyster bar lived up to the reviews on line. my family and I had a very good eating experience at a reasonable price.

Sat at the bar. Service was great. Wedge salad was excellent. Unfortunately steak was underdone and smoke flavor overpowered it

First Time Ever Visiting. Friday Afternoon Before the 5 o clock Dinner Rush. Outdoor Seating under a canopy out back by a stream. Tables Filled up fast. Raw Seafood Bar. Clams in the Half Shell was my reason for visiting. Nice Atmosphere. Lots of Nice Menu Choices.
